Hello. Thanks for wanting to know more about me.

My first published byline was with Billboard Magazine in 2004 and since then, I’ve written for a variety of national publications and magazines, including Rolling Stone, New York, The Wall Street Journal, Time, Vanity Fair, The Village Voice, Esquire, GQ, Relix, Uproxx, and many more.

I’ve worked on staff at MTV, Rolling Stone, the Wall Street Journal, and am currently the Executive Editor at Money.com

In 2020, Abrams published my first book, One Last Song, which was picked as a Best Book for Fall 2020 by Time Magazine and a Best Music Book of the Year by Variety.

My second book, Sharing in the Groove: The Untold Story of the ’90s Jam Band Explosion and the Scene That Followed, was released on July 22 by St. Martin’s Press. Publishers Weekly and Esquire named it one of summer’s best books of 2025 and was featured on Vermont Public Radio, The A.V. Club, Rolling Stone, WGN-TV Chicago, Booklist, Kirkus, and more.
